7 Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them.[1] And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation, (Da 7:21; Re 11:7; Re 12:17) 

New International Version

7 It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. 

New International Reader’s Version

7 The beast was allowed to make war against God’s holy people and to overcome them. It was given authority over every tribe, people and nation, no matter what language they spoke. 

King James Version

7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
