Ezekiel 4:17

English Standard Version

17 I will do this that they may lack bread and water, and look at one another in dismay, and rot away because of their punishment. (Le 26:39; Eze 3:15; Eze 24:23; Eze 33:10) 

New International Version

17 for food and water will be scarce. They will be appalled at the sight of each other and will waste away because of[1] their sin. 

New International Reader’s Version

17 There will be very little food and water. The people will be shocked as they look at one another. They will become weaker and weaker because of their sin. 

King James Version

17 That they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.
