Deuteronomy 4:6

English Standard Version

6 Keep them and do them, for that will be your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, who, when they hear all these statutes, will say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’ (De 29:9; Job 28:28; Ps 111:10; Pr 1:7; Pr 9:10) 

New International Version

6 Observe them carefully, for this will show your wisdom and understanding to the nations, who will hear about all these decrees and say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

6 Be careful to keep them. That will show the nations how wise and understanding you are. They will hear about all these rules. They’ll say, ‘That great nation certainly has wise and understanding people.’ 

King James Version

6 Keep therefore and do them ; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
