5 Then the prophet Gad said to David, “Do not remain in the stronghold; depart, and go into the land of Judah.” So David departed and went into the forest of Hereth. (2Sa 24:11; 2Sa 24:18; 1Ch 21:9; 1Ch 21:11; 1Ch 21:13; 1Ch 21:18; 1Ch 29:29; 2Ch 29:25) 

New International Version

5 But the prophet Gad said to David, ‘Do not stay in the stronghold. Go into the land of Judah.’ So David left and went to the forest of Hereth.

5 But the prophet Gad spoke to David. He said, ‘Don’t stay in your usual place of safety. Go into the land of Judah.’ So David left and went to the forest of Hereth. 

King James Version

5 And the prophet Gad said unto David, Abide not in the hold; depart, and get thee into the land of Judah. Then David departed, and came into the forest of Hareth.
